We almost didn't come here because we heard it was not a safe area to walk around in. When we saw the area from the hop-n hop-off bus, we decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. It is a lo…Full review by ThomasTCat

What are the gardens like during the end of October? Have most of the plants died back? We're visiting at the end of the month and I really want to go to the gardens but if there isn't much to see then I'll wait to revisit in the spring/ summer. Thanks!
A:
I was only there in August. Many of the features are not plants, though = all creating a harmonious whole. Considering there's no charge, it would be worth the trip, I think.
May I ask when are the pond renevations planned to be completed.
A:
The pond in the garden was drained when we were there May 12. Not sure completion date. Web site says renovations to be done this spring. Enjoyed the guided tour though.
