This park is a must visit. Specially in summer the views are great. Lummus Park Beach has been one of my favorite places in Florida and it was great to come here again. Full review by meganlE1307YR

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could recommend where I can find cabana rentals for the beach? I’m heading down in a few months and wanted to rent one for our group! Thanks in advance!

We are planning to be in South Beach 4th of July w/our 10 & 6 year old. Can you please tell me the best place on the beach to view the fireworks or if we would be able to view from one of the streetside cafes, if so which one? I would also like to know if the public restrooms will be open as well 4th of July evening. Thank you so much :)

Hi, Sorry I don't know where they hold the fireworks. Maybe check with the local council about the restrooms as don't know the open hours I'm afraid. Enjoy your visit. Kind Regards Karen

HI, sorry for delay There is parking on the street. However, yes you do have to pay but it doesn't start until 9:00am and ends at 6:00pm (residential parking starts). That will probably run you around $35+. Be careful, some streets are enforced 24hours so make sure you read There are a few garages on 17th Street. If you are there all day(6-24hours), it's only $25.00 Otherwise, if you can find a spot on the street (a few blocks past Washington Ave) the parking is free until 6:00pm but you'll have to walk few blocks (Washington is 3 blocks from the beach, not to bad. The parking in the lots in the surrounding area will cost the same as if you parked on the street where you'll pay pretty much the same $35.00+ Hope this helped. Good luck! Have fun
