Alabama and Virginia Tech have found themselves in a weather delay ahead of the Tuscaloosa regional championship on Sunday.

In the Virginia Tech softball team was looking to force a game two in the Tuscaloosa regional round. But Alabama scored three runs in the top of the fifth. Virginia Tech senior infielder Rachel Castine hit a two-run homer to bring the Hokies within one in the bottom of the seventh.
