A majority of Allianz Life's 1.4 million US customers had their personal data stolen in cyber-attack. Here's what you need to know.

The information stolen in the recent cyberattack on insurance giant Allianz Life included people’s full names, postal addresses, dates of birth and, particularly worryingly - Social Security numbers (SSN), the company has confirmed.

The breach is limited to Allianz Life’s operations in the US and does not extend to other Allianz corporate entities worldwide.
