Asian Paints on Tuesday reported a 23.3 per cent drop in consolidated net profit to ₹1,110.48 crore for the third quarter (Q3) of the financial year 2024-25 (FY25), from ₹1,447.72 crore reported during the same period last year. Sequentially, however, profit rose nearly 60 per cent from ₹694.64 crore.

Earnings: Asian Paints registered a 23.5 per cent decline in its net profit for the October-December period. The earnings come days after the Narendra Modi 3.0 government presented its Budget for FY26 with an aim to boiost middle-class income and spur consumption.

Asian Paints is likely to report a 3% decline in its revenue for the quarter compared to the year-ago period, as per a CNBC-TV18 poll.

Asian Paints reported revenue from operations at Rs 8521.51 crore, down 6.10 per cent as against Rs 9,074.94 crore during the third quarter of previous financial year.

Asian Paints reported a 23.5% decline in Q3 profit to Rs 1,128.4 cr, with sales down 6% due to muted demand and a weak festive season. The company remains cautiously optimistic on a recovery in demand.
