Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times during a violent burglary at his Bandra residence in Mumbai late on Wednesday night.

Mumbai Police officers were seen at Saif Ali Khan's apartment complex in Bandra West. Among the officers who visited Satguru Sharan apartments was well-known encounter specialist Daya Nayak. Daya Nayak is best known for gunning down more than 80 Mumbai underworld gangsters in the 1990s.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan underwent emergency surgery at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital following a knife attack at his Bandra residence early Thursday morning. The 54-year-old actor sustained multiple injuries during a confrontation with an intruder around 2:30am local time.

The Lilavati Hospital doctors informed that a 2.5-inch knife was removed from Saif Ali Khan's spine and his ‘leaking spinal fluid’ was repaired. Further doctors also performed plastic surgeries on Saif Ali Khan's hand and neck.
