Appearing on Pat McAfee's show, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network updated the contract standoff saga between Hendrickson and the Bengals by saying that talks are ongoing between the two sides recently after the defensive end's very public interview on the same platform.

Amidst his offseason holdout, Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals continue to be in communication about a new contract, but very little progress has been made.
