The head of Ozempic maker Novo Nordisk A/S is among business executives who are meeting the Danish prime minister to discuss potential measures by the incoming Trump administration amid escalating tensions over Greenland.

Trump has not spoken publicly about the call, choosing instead to repost on social media the results of a 2019 poll that found that 68 percent of Greenlanders supported independence from Denmark.

Denmark’s Prime Minister on Wednesday told Donald Trump that it was up to Greenland to decide on its future, following the US President-elect’s provocative remarks about seizing the island.
