The Lynchburg Fire Department responded to a structure fire that caused a vehicle to ignite on February 3. LFD said that firefighters responded to a garage fire at the 4900 block of Old Boonsboro Road around 1:15 p.

The building, vehicles and equipment inside the garage on Hackett Road was a total loss from the Sunday night blaze.

A fire destroyed a Maine Turnpike Authority garage off I-95 in Auburn, with no injuries but total property loss. The cause remains under investigation.
