Hospitals and medics in the Gaza Strip say Israeli strikes across the Palestinian enclave killed at least 75 people.

Aid groups and U.N. investigations have accused Israel of aiming to destroy Gaza’s health infrastructure. Israel says it is forced to strike hospitals it says are used by Hamas for military purposes.

Israel has launched dozens of airstrikes across Gaza in attacks that local health officials say killed 108 people, mostly women and children, and which Israeli officials described as a prelude to a larger campaign to pressure Hamas to release hostages.
