San Francisco 49ers star tight end George Kittle didn't hold back about the offense after his team's loss to the Houston Texans.
The Houston Texans quarterback put it together vs. the San Francisco 49ers for a much-needed third win on the season.
Down 16-0, the 49ers came alive with last-minute theatrics before halftime, highlighted by Kittle’s 17-yard, third-down touchdown catch. Setting up that score was Brian Robinson’s 46-yard kick return – the 49ers’ longest this season – plus a 15-yard facemask penalty, followed by an 18-yard catch from Kendrick Bourne.
Instead of having to settle for another field goal, C.J, Stroud and Xavier Hutchinson hooked up to put the 49ers in a deeper hole.
The 49ers just lost 26-15 to the Houston Texans, who came into the game with just two wins and four losses. Now, the 49ers have five wins and three losses, which is good, but they didn't play like a playoff team today. They played like pure pretenders.
The San Francisco 49ers have somehow managed to enter Week 8 with an opportunity to stay atop the NFC West with a win over a struggling Houston Texans club.
