Lewisville officers shot and killed a 43-year-old woman early Thursday following a high-speed chase, according to a press release.

A car chase led to Lewisville police fatally shooting a woman with a felony warrant overnight. The Lewisville Police Department said that just after 12 a.m. Thursday, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in which the driver was suspected of having a felony warrant issued by another agency.

Lewisville police were involved in a multi-city chase overnight that ended in a police shooting, officials said.
