After Ohio State said the decision not to have Dave Portnoy on set inside Ohio Stadium was a Fox decision, the Barstool founder pushed back on that narrative.

Ohio State denied Tuesday that it banned Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy from Ohio Stadium as a part of Fox Sports’ “Big Noon Kickoff” show on Saturday, as the prominent University of Michigan alumnus called the Buckeyes out for focusing more on him than the Texas Longhorns.

Ohio State athletic director Ross Bjork said it was Fox’s decision to not have Portnoy on the show’s desk, which in turn would not allow Portnoy from being on the field inside the stadium. On Tuesday, Portnoy said otherwise — while wearing a Michigan hat — in a nearly six-minute retort on X.
