NASCAR fans were less than happy to see that Pete Hegseth had been announced as the grand marshal for the Coca-Cola 600.

Ross Chastain was told by Pete Hegseth how important NASCAR was to American politics after the star's Coca-Cola 600 win.

Hegseth touted the patriotism at the event when he attended in 2022. “It’s an honor to return to the Coca-Cola 600 as the historic event’s grand marshal,” Hegseth said in a statement.
