Over the years, the Philadelphia 76ers have developed a handful of second-round picks or undrafted players who have gone on to hang around the league. Among those was guard Shake Milton. Now with the Brooklyn Nets,

ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Los Angeles Lakers have acquired Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton from the Brooklyn Nets for D’Angelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis, and three second-round picks. Once the Nets traded Dennis Schroder, they sent a clear message to the rest of the NBA that they were starting their rebuild.

D'Angelo Russell has been one of the more streaky players in the entire NBA since beginning his career nine years ago, a trend which continued over into his second stint with the Lakers beginning at the 2023 trade deadline.
