Moscow’s forces infiltrated Pokrovsk after months of attacks on the city, a strategic part of Ukraine’s eastern defenses.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is claiming that Ukrainian forces are surrounded by the Russian army in two key eastern cities and is offering to negotiate a deal for their surrender.

There have been 168 combat engagements on the front today, with Russian forces conducting 57 attempts to break through Ukrainian Defense Forces’ lines in the Pokrovsk sector, suffering significant losses.

Russia has intensified its offensive in Ukraine's east and the situation around the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast has noticeably worsened in recent weeks, as small Russian groups have begun infiltrating the city.

EADaily, . The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, following the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, admitted that the Russian army is in Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk). He stated this in an evening video message.

That’s where the Russians have gathered their primary strike group — and it’s a significant number of enemy troops,” Zelenskyy said in his video address on Oct. 26. “Of course, this makes the situation difficult in Pokrovsk and all nearby districts.

DeepState, a Ukrainian group of military analysts, has reported that Ukraine's defence forces have pushed Russian troops back near the villages of Kucheriv Yar and Novyi Shakhove in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast.
