Bryan Kohberger’s immediate family will be allowed to attend the entirety of his upcoming capital murder trial, the presiding judge ruled. This decision was one of two orders from 4th District Judge Steven Hippler publicized on the court’s website Wednesday.

A judge ruled this week that Bryan Kohberger’s immediate family may attend his upcoming murder trial in the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students— even if they might be called to testify.

Judge Steven Hippler issued several new rulings on Wednesday for the Idaho vs. Bryan Kohberger case. Judge Hippler will allow the state to examine Kohberger's personality, but has barred the state from using personality tests during the trial to avoid violating Kohberger's constitutional rights.
