The Texas Longhorns have managed to keep their College Football Playoff ambitions within reach following their 45-38 overtime victory against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Saturday. This win comes after their 16-13 overtime win against the Kentucky Wildcats in week 8.

Off to their best start in three decades, the Aggies made more history against LSU on Saturday at Tiger Stadium. It was a completely dominating performance, 49-25, and the second straight win A&M has in its rivalry against the Tigers.

LSU sent a blitz off the edges and as A&M's protection held up, there was a wide lane in the middle of the field. Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed ripped off up the gut and burned the Tigers for a 41-yard touchdown run.

Smith-Njigba was also fined for unsportsmanlike conduct, after dunking the ball in a touchdown celebration earlier in the game.
