The manhunt continues Wednesday for the suspect accused of shooting two people Monday after he was arrested for a separate incident at UI Health. Security remains heightened on the hospital campus two days after a tense encounter unfolded in the Outpatient Care Center South Tower lobby.

UIC officials said police are looking for a former Aramark employee who works at UI Health who is wanted in connection to a shooting in a Chicago home following an incident at the hospital Monday.

A University of Illinois Chicago medical center contractor entered the hospital Monday armed with a gun and later shot two people at another employee's home, hospital officials say. There is heightened security Tuesday at UIC medical center.
