Late on Friday, Anthropic announced that it would no longer make its latest, most powerful widely available model Fable 5 available for use.

The halt came after the Trump administration declared Anthropic's most advanced AI models a security risk and banned access for all non-U.S. users.

The ban applies to foreign nationals both inside and outside the US and includes foreign national Anthropic employees, Anthropic said.
