Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a phone conversation with the new US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to discuss important matters concerning the development of China-US relations, according to the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During a meeting with Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed the need for both nations to work together, explore substantive measures, and foster mutual understanding.
