The Cleveland Browns have already begun their journey of cutting their roster down to 53 players from the 90 that it currently stands at after their preseason finale against the Los Angeles Rams. The team must be at 53 players by 4 p.m. Eastern Time.

The path to the initial 53-man roster is underway for the Browns. Cleveland concluded its preseason Aug. 23 with a 19-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Since that game ended, it has been working to whittle down the roster from the 90 players it had in training camp.
