NASCAR announced Tuesday that its preseason Cup Series exhibition will return to its roots next year with new-look sponsorship, with the Wheatley Vodka Clash set to open the Speedweeks schedule at Daytona International Speedway.

NASCAR has officially announced the full 2027 Daytona schedule, including the return of the Clash, full Speedweeks lineup and the Daytona 500.

The Clash is coming home. Daytona International Speedway’s famed oval will return to its role as the host for NASCAR’s season-opening exhibition race next season after a six-year hiatus, multiple industry sources confirmed to The Athletic.
