With the New York Islanders set to host the 2027 NHL All-Star Game, the marquee event will have an international flair.

Prior to Game 1 of the 2026 Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and NHLPA Executive Director Marty Walsh announced that the New York Islanders and UBS Arena will be getting an All-Star Game.

After not holding an All-Star Game in each of the past two seasons due to the Olympics and 4 Nations Face-Off, the NHL will keep the international theme going for the event which will take place Feb. 5-6, 2027, at the home of the New York Islanders.

The National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) today announced the format of the 2027 Honda NHL All-Star Game and 2027 NHL All-Star Skills, set to take place Feb.

The NHL is taking cues from the success of the 4 Nations Face-Off and Winter Olympics tournaments, introducing an international format to next year's All-Star Game.
