It's Jessie's time!

Toy Story 5 hits theaters in June, and we've already seen the first half of the movie. The sequel has teased toys vs tech, but there's more bubbling inside.

During Disney's D23 expo in August 2024, Stanton shared that the movie will tackle contemporary issues, particularly the impact of technology on childhood play. “In Toy Story 5 the toys' jobs get exponentially harder when our toy crew goes head to head with what kids are obsessed with today: electronics,” he said at the time.

The two-time Academy award nominee made her first red carpet appearance since 2015 at the May 28 London premiere of “Toy Story 5.” Cusack, who reprises her role in the film as the voice of the cowgirl toy Jessie, wore a long black skirt with a white button-down shirt and black glasses. She was accompanied at the event by her husband, Richard Burke.
