NFL Spin Zone on MSNRaiders made a surprise quarterback trade that no one asked for
The Las Vegas Raiders just made a trade for quarterback Kenny Pickett, and it's a bit of a mind-boggling move considering their depth at the position.
This is the third time Pickett has been traded since being taken No. 20 overall by the Steelers in the 2022 NFL draft. He joins Sam Howell as the only players over the last 30 seasons to be traded three or more times within their first four NFL seasons, per NFL Research.

Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers earned spots on the list of the NFL's Top 100 players for 2025.
Miller, as a rookie, will get $13,000 per week as long as he's on the practice squad, which works out to $234,000 for an 18-week season. It makes the initial waiving of Miller more sensible. The veteran Epps will join a young group of Eagles safeties, including Reed Blankenship, Sydney Brown and Andrew Mukuba. The Eagles traded away last year's star safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson to the Texans back in March, so it'll be good for Epps to add some more experience to the team's current group.
Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly could result in the team signing Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Or, the front office could play it safe with C.J. Beathard instead.
