Four years after the plan was first approved, a majority of Midland’s Concept 5 Sewer Improvement work has been completed.

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Construction work to install 400 feet of new sewer pipe began on Monday in Visalia. Shirk Avenue at Riggin Avenue is closed in both directions, just north of Ferguson Avenue.

ECUA says they maintain thousands of miles of water and sewer pipes and are working to replace much of it in phases.
