ATHENS, Ga. — A woman was shot at an Athens dental office early Monday morning and a 74-year-old man is under arrest, police said.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department confirmed they are investigating a shooting at a dentist’s office near Clarke Central High School.

Authorities on Tuesday said the suspect and the victim of gunfire violence at an Athens dental clinic remain in hospitals.
