Wednesday evening, Kentucky State Police said on X that troopers located a body near Exit 49 on I-75, just outside of the small town of London, and were working with authorities to confirm the identity of the body. The body appears to have been found by a group from Hatfield McCoy Museum Adventures who were tracking vultures near Exit 49 on I-75.

Live stream footage from Hatfield McCoy Museum Adventures showed a group tracking vultures Wednesday afternoon near exit 49 on I-75. At a point during their search, they started to pick up on the smell of decaying flesh, according to the video, which led them to the body.
