AMC is slashing ticket prices on Wednesdays for members of its loyalty program as the movie-theater chain looks to boost its cash position by tapping into a box-office rebound.

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc. said it will offer a 50% discount on adult evening-priced movie tickets on Wednesdays starting July 9.
