“Avatar” and “The Way of Water” both grossed over $2 billion at the worldwide box office, making them two of the most commercially successful films in history. If “Fire and Ash” follows suit, “Avatar” will be the only franchise to have three films cross the $2 billion threshold.

Fire and Ash' will debut in theaters alongside 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' this weekend, showcasing new characters and thrilling visuals in the next chapter of the blockbuster franchise.

In one scene, the newly-revealed character Varang warns ““your goddess has no dominion here.” As is typical with this universe, the visuals are stunning, and similar to “Way of Water,” and indications from the trailer are that the narrative will have heavy focus on Jake and Neytiri’s children.
