The city of Calistoga opened an evacuation center for Napa County residents who have had to evacuate their homes because of the Pickett Fire, which had burned about 6,800 acres as of Sunday.

The wildfire has primarily moved east through sparsely populated territory last burned in 2020. No structures have been lost and containment stood at 7% late Friday.
