Metcalf, 17, was fatally stabbed at a district track meet on April 2 at David Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco. Anthony, then 17 and a student at Centennial High School, was charged with murder in Metcalf’s death.

The fallout from the fatal stabbing of a student at a track meet in Frisco has been far reaching, causing tension and raising security concerns in the community.

In a letter to parents on Thursday, Frisco ISD says they will release student information to the state if parents do not object within five days.
