More than 25 years ago, 18-year-old Hae Min Lee was found murdered at Baltimore's Leakin Park, which ultimately led to the arrest and conviction of her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed.

Baltimore prosecutors announced they would withdraw a motion to vacate Syed's conviction, as a judge will weigh whether he should be resentenced.

The grin on Adnan Syed's face Wednesday afternoon notably made the Lee family livid as they urged the judge to keep the 43-year-old behind bars to finish his life sentence
