Jeff Bridges walked out to wild applause at the convention panel for Tron: Ares on Friday, riffing on his iconic line from The Big Lebowski after being teed up by host Kevin Smith. "The Grid abides," he declared to an adoring crowd.

“I didn’t want to offend him as a thespo,” Bridges continued, addressing Leto, who is known as a method actor. “But I thought, ‘I wanted to have a certain intimacy with you. I know your name is Ares. Can I just call you Air?’ He said, ‘Yeah man! You can call me whatever you want!’ We had a great time.”

To be fair, Jeff Bridges doesn’t look all that different from the way Flynn looked in Tron: Legacy. The outfit was very similar. Although it was missing the glowing logo on the
