Former Missouri governor and U.S. Senator Kit Bond has died at 86. Bond served two terms as governor and represented Missouri in the Senate for over two decades, leaving a lasting impact on the state.
Bond served as Missouri's governor from 1973 to 1977 and from 1981 to 1985. He then went on to the U.S. Senate, where he was elected in 1986. He was reelected in 1992, 1998 and 2004.
