The Miami Dolphins' safety position is one that's largely unknown, at least behind defensive superstar Minkah Fitzpatrick, whom the team had a reunion with last month in a mega-trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers that sent Jonnu Smith and Jalen Ramsey to the Steel City.

The Dolphins could be facing another serious injury after safety Ashtyn Davis went down with a non-contact injury on Tuesday.

Additional years were not added the revised deal, but Fitzpatrick's agent Drew Rosenhaus said they were comfortable with what they got done and have plans to hopefully work on a multi-year extension.
