Pedestrian hit and killed in Edgefield County
A 1998 Toyota 4Runner was going east on Mount Zion Rd while the pedestrian was walking along the road, officials say. The 4Runner hit the person near the intersection of Mount Zion Rd and Highway 25. SCHP says the pedestrian was taken to MCG in Augusta and later died from their injuries. The driver was not injured in the accident.
Police investigate after van hits pedestrian
Police in Leicester have launched an investigation after a pedestrian was hit by a van. Officers were called to Evington Lane at about 19:00 GMT on Friday. A Leicestershire Police spokesman said the van "left the scene prior to police arriving", adding nobody has been arrested and inquiries are "ongoing".
Pedestrian, building hit by motor vehicle in Boston
A vehicle hit a person and a building in Boston Friday afternoon, police said. The incident happened near Summer and Kingston streets around 1 p.m., the Boston Police Department said. The pedestrian — who was not identified — was taken to a hospital, police said. Police did not give an update on the status of the driver.
