The San Antonio Spurs have a long history of dominant NBA big men, but their latest project could feature the most talented one out of all of them based on his early contributions to the Western Conference team in his first two seasons.

According to ESPN's Marc Spears, Holmgren's NBA championship with the Thunder is lighting a fire under Wemby. "I was told by somebody inside that room that Wemby is motivated by Chet. Chet having one up on him on the championship," he said. If true, this is not a significant shock.

During an appearance on Thursday's edition of ESPN's "First Take," former player and current analyst Jay Williams had nothing but high praise for Wembanyama after his stellar showing against the Mavericks.
