The coldest streak of weather Tampa Bay has experienced since 2022 is expected this week as forecasters anticipate overnight temperatures will plunge into the low 40s and afternoon highs will struggle to reach the 60s for much of the area.

Part of the Tampa Bay area is under a marginal risk for severe weather on Monday as a front brings rain and strong wind gusts before much colder air moves in.
