Liam Doyle was ejected after an 11th-inning exchange of words with Auburn's Bristol Carter after Doyle tagged Carter out stealing home.

Tony Vitello was ejected for the fifth time as the Tennessee baseball coach in the fifth inning of the Vols;' 8-1 loss to Auburn.

The Tigers won the series over Tennessee, taking games one and three against the No. 12 Volunteers. Each of the wins were relatively lopsided too, and the one loss came in extra innings after the contest had to be suspended and resumed the next day.
