Just days after the Washington Commanders eliminated the Lions in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, Detroit's ex-offensive coordinator Ben Johnson was off to his new head coaching job in the Windy City, where he arrived to a standing ovation and probably more excitement than the Chicago Bears' headquarters has seen in years.

Former Bears and current Lions running back David Montgomery took to Instagram to share his reaction to his offensive coordinator leaving for Chicago, and it was pretty hilarious.

The Bears officially announced the hire of Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson had helped build an explosive offense in Detroit. Over the last two seasons, no unit has averaged more points per game (30.1) or net yards per game (402.2) than the Bears under Johnson.
