David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha each logged a goal and two assists and Jeremy Swayman tied his career-high mark with 43 saves as the Boston Bruins beat the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning 6-2 on Tuesday night.

Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Darren Raddysh may face discipline from the NHL Player Safety after injuring a Bruins forward with a dirty hit to the head.

What a week it’s been for the Boston Bruins. After coming off a huge victory against the Florida Panthers, the Bruins split their games this week and took three out of a possible four points.

Jeremy Swayman has made 83 saves in the Boston Bruins’ last two games, a pair of hard-earned wins over division rivals Florida and Tampa Bay. He is playing his best hockey of the season while also handling his heaviest workload to date.

Swayman will protect the visiting goal in Tampa Bay on Thursday, according to Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

Victor Hedman had a goal and an assist, and Andrei Vasilevskiy made 18 saves for the Lightning (23-16-3), who had their four-game point streak end (3-0-1). Brayden Point was a healthy scratch after he missed a team meeting.

Swayman rebounded with a 40-save effort in Saturday's 4-3 win over Florida after starting the new calendar year with four consecutive losses. The 26-year-old has a 14-15-3 record, .895 save percentage and 2.91 GAA through 32 appearances in 2024-25. The Lightning rank first in the NHL with 3.68 goals per game.

Tampa Bay has won back-to-back games after dropping dour in a row. The Lightning moved past the Bruins into third place in the Atlantic Division. Mason Lohrei scored for Boston, and Jeremy Swayman made 27 saves. The Bruins are 0-5-1 in their last six.

Under duress from Charlie Coyle, Victor Hedman lost the puck just inside his left point position and Poitras pounced on it, bursting up ice on a 2-on-1. He smartly waited out Nick Perbix’s belly-flop slide and made a pretty pass around the defenseman’s skates to Trent Frederic for a redirection at 4:24, Frederic’s seventh of the year.
