Former New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera and his wife Clara Rivera have been accused of covering up child sex abuse within their church, the Refuge of Hope.

Rivera and his wife aren't named in the lawsuit but it does accuse them of knowing about the alleged abuse at the camp.

After retiring from the MLB, Rivera became the lead pastor of the Refuge of Hope Church, where his wife is said to be in charge of the day-to-day operations.
