The Connecticut Sun are reportedly sending 5-time All-Star Alyssa Thomas to the Phoenix Mercury in a sign-and-trade deal after 11 seasons.
The Atlanta Dream have signed three-time All-Star Brionna Jones marking their second major free-agent acquisition of the offseason after adding 10-time All-Star Brittney Griner. Jones previously played with the Connecticut Sun. Jones' agent, Boris Lelchitski, confirmed the deal to ESPN's Alexa Philippou on Thursday.

The Sun gave Thomas the core designation earlier in January, meaning the only way for Thomas to be moved was via a sign-and-trade
