Proair HFA (albuterol sulfate) Inhalation Aerosol is supplied as a pressurized aluminum canister with a red plastic actuator with a dose counter and white dust cap each in boxes of one.

Albuterol can be administered "through an inhaler or as an aerosolized solution through a nebulizer machine." The latter type is currently facing a national shortage in the United States.
