After creating your character in Avowed, you’ll begin the main story quest On Strange Shores. The player washes up in a mysterious area, instead of in Dawnshore as they were supposed to.

Dawntreader is one of the more interesting side quests in Avowed. You can potentially unlock it within the first few hours of the game, but it’s very much off the beaten path, and easily missed.
