Andre Lima is on the rise, as was evident by his dominant submission win over Daniel Barez on Saturday at UFC Fight Night 254 at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Lima (11-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) tapped Barez (17-7 MMA, 1-2 UFC) with a rear-naked choke at the 3:05 mark of Round 3 to remain undefeated as a professional.

The UFC handed out four bonuses after Saturday's card – all to fighters on the prelims, and in four of the first five fights, no less. After UFC Fight Night 254, four fighters picked up an extra $50,000 for their performances in Las Vegas.

Though there were plenty of bad feelings heading into UFC Vegas 104 from fans and pundits after the aftermath of UFC 313, the results of the first two fights may have taken things up a notch pretty quickly.
