Well, Apple has set a date for WWDC 2025. And when this year's event gets underway with an opening keynote on June 9, I'm going to suggest it's something you'll want to tune in for.

When Apple released the Apple Watch 10, it was a mild disappointment for many, since it was essentially the same design as earlier versions but with upgraded internals. Apple did update the Mac Studio at WWDC last year, so it wouldn't be unheard of for a new model with an M3 Max and (as-yet unreleased) M3 Ultra chip — or maybe they'll skip over the M3 ...

After 24 hours of tapping, swiping and sweating through Apple ’s latest smartwatch software, I can confidently say watchOS 26 is… fine. There are some useful upgrades, a few subtle design changes, and the long-overdue arrival of the Notes app. But is it exciting? Not especially.
