Week 9 may have lacked the major upsets of previous weeks, but plenty of games played a key role in conference races and the CFP picture.

Studs like Ashton Bethel-Roman, KC Concepcion and Mario Craver are making highlight-worthy plays on a routine basis. If the defense performs like it did Saturday -- and it has for most the season, outside those stinkers against Notre Dame and Arkansas -- than Texas A&M is the most complete team in the country.

Week 9 of the college football season featured some quality games, but there was one that David Pollack called a statement win. No. 4 Alabama narrowly escaped Columbia with a 29-22 win over South Carolina, while then-ranked No. 8 Ole Miss outlasted No. 13 Oklahoma 34-26 and No. 10 Vanderbilt beat No. 15 Missouri 17-10.
